Job Description
The Environmental Graphic Designer II is a creative professional responsible for developing and executing design concepts for signage, wayfinding, exhibits, and environments across various markets, collaborating with teams to transform ideas into compelling visual solutions that enhance spaces and communicate client missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the design process from concept development through artwork production.
- Translate client needs and ideas into compelling design concepts that express their mission and purpose.
- Support project execution from storyboard to final design, creating detailed solutions across various media.
- Develop documentation for graphic programs, signage systems, donor recognition, and exhibits.
- Produce camera-ready artwork for fabrication.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members through calls, critiques, and visual mockups.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience required
- Strong design portfolio and background in a variety of markets
- Strong typography skills
- Proficiency on Mac in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required
- Must have demonstrated skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design and environments
- Must have a working knowledge and experience in all phases of the design process
- Attention to detail is a must
- Robust communication skills and proven strategies for collaborating in fast-moving, complex project teams
