This role involves electrical systems design and project management for construction and renovation projects in educational, healthcare, sports, and commercial sectors, working as part of a multidisciplinary team under senior engineering guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in project planning sessions and lead project engineering responsibilities
Develop electrical system designs for building construction, including lighting, power, signaling, and communication systems
Prepare construction documents such as drawings and specifications
Guide less experienced team members in executing drawings
Specify electrical equipment and perform quality control checks on engineering documents
Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
Conduct site visits to verify conditions and observe construction progress
Attend and participate in construction meetings
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years of related experience in electrical engineering.
Prior experience on Healthcare, Education, and/or Science and Technology projects is preferred.
Must possess working knowledge and experience in electrical engineering systems design, while still acquiring higher level knowledge.
Must be an independent thinker, analytical, and contribute to process development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs such as Revit, AGI32, Visual, and SKM Power Tools is required.
