Job Description
The Area Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team within a specific territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and achieving sales goals in the roofing industry while providing excellent customer service and supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the Columbus Dayton market
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure the sales team achieves and exceeds sales goals through leadership and accountability
- Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
- Travel to other markets to support sales staff needs
Requirements
- Experience in leading, coaching, and providing strategic guidance to sales teams, with a focus on sales representatives in a specific market or territory.
- Ability to directly own the recruiting, training, and onboarding of sales professionals within the assigned territory.
- Proven track record of ensuring sales goals are achieved and exceeded through effective leadership, accountability, and collaboration.

- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry and assist in generating sales.
- Ability and willingness to travel to other markets as needed to support additional sales staff.
