Job Description
The Area Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team within a specific territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and achieving sales goals in the roofing industry while providing excellent customer service and strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the Sarasota market
- Recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure the territory achieves and exceeds sales goals through leadership and collaboration
- Assist in generating sales and supporting sales efforts
- Travel to other markets to support or recruit additional sales staff
- Deliver top-level customer service
Requirements
- Experience in providing leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales teams or sales representatives.
- Ability to recruit, train, and onboard sales professionals within a designated territory.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals through effective leadership, accountability, and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills necessary for leading through influence and providing top-level customer service.
- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry and develop industry-specific knowledge.
- Ability to assist in generating sales and contribute to sales growth within the territory.
- Willingness and ability to travel to other markets as needed to support sales staff or generate sales.
- Interest in the roofing industry and a demonstrated willingness to develop expertise in this field.
