Provide off-shift coverage (evenings and/or weekends) of all process engineering activities across multiple functional areas for fuel cell manufacturing.
Respond promptly to production line down scenarios, such as measurements out of spec, defects observed at automated visual inspection or manual visual inspection, defects on incoming parts, etc. Assess the situation, determine root cause, and adjust parameters to return process under control and resume volume production. Document activities appropriately.
Understand and react to abnormal events and coordinate containment and countermeasure activities in a cross functional environment
Communicate clearly to co-workers and send out daily reports to team
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant coursework preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED); technical certifications or relevant coursework with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or related environment.
Hands on experience in thin-film processes
Hands on experience with operating and troubleshooting of high precision machinery
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to technical issues.
Ability to follow direction, meet deadline, and collaborate in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written skill set
Adhere to safety requirements and ability to work in controlled environment wearing personal protective safety equipment (PPE).
