$61,500.00 - $88,500.00
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the flow of materials from warehouse to pre-assembly factory before routing to final assembly factories and/or preparing Customer Shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to meet operational requirements.
- Review material demand, forecasts, and production schedules to identify shortages and excess inventory.
- Work closely with Procurement, Material Planning, Production Scheduling, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to resolve material issues and resolve material constraint bottlenecks.
- Track and expedite critical materials and deliveries defined by Production Control and Business Operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/MRP systems.
- Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
- Analyze inventory trends and recommend actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs and cycle times.
- Investigate and resolve material discrepancies, damaged goods, and supplier issues.
- Develop reports and metrics related to inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational performance.
- Train, mentor, and support junior material coordinators and material handling personnel.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management and material flow processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceutical, automotive, or industrial environments.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
