Job Description
The core duties for a Balance of Plant (BOP) Technician at East Anglia One will be to service, maintain and troubleshoot on all 102 Wind Turbine cranes and Turbine Foundation associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Requesting and processing the necessary permit to work documentation
- Assist in the picking and checking of Offshore spares and tools to be used in the execution of work
- Accompany site visitors / HV Technicians and other site staff in site visits, Onshore and Offshore
- Technicians will require to undergo specific internal and external training courses
- Additional development paths within the BOP role may include but not limited to:
- o Training opportunities to be able to conduct control room operations
- o Further development and training opportunities available in other trade skillsets and disciplines for example Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic
- Training options available around Health and Safety qualifications
