Job Description
The Software Engineer II, Visualization at Aurora is responsible for designing and developing high-performance web applications for visualizing and analyzing self-driving vehicle data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the capabilities and usability of Aurora's visualization platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and ship major features for Aurora's web applications to visualize and label self-driving vehicle data.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to develop visualization tools.
- Write high-quality, efficient code using Typescript and React in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Aurora's self-driving technology systems.
Requirements
- Five years of industry experience building software in a production environment.
- Deep and demonstrated understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Experience working with Javascript or TypeScript to build web applications.
- Empathy for users and a drive to build clean and elegant UI/UX.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range: $139,000 - $201,500 per year
Annual bonus eligibility
Equity compensation
Hybrid work environment with at least 3 days in the office per week
