Job Description
The Survey CAD Technician at Atwell, LLC will utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce various project drawings and analyze survey data, while acting as a resource for design staff and coordinating workflow with project managers in a flexible and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments.
- Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, and construction layouts.
- Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions.
- Edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients.
- Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
- High School Diploma required.
- Thorough understanding of ALTA surveys, topographical surveys, boundaries, and construction staking.
