Sr. Civil/Structural Engineer - Oil & Gas - Pipelines and Facilities

• Lead the civil and structural engineering design for oil and gas infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, compressor stations, terminals, and process facilities • Develop construction documents, including structural plans, general arrangements, framing plans, and connection details for steel and concrete structures • Conduct structural analysis under various loading conditions including wind, seismic, blast, and equipment loads in accordance with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, API, etc.) • Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and reports prepared by internal teams and subcontractors • Collaborate with multidiscipline teams including mechanical, piping, and electrical to coordinate structural requirements across project phases • Perform field visits to verify as-built conditions, gather site data, and provide construction support as needed • Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support team development through technical leadership • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope • Support quality assurance by implementing Atwell’s QA/QC procedures and best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution (Master’s a plus) • Professional Engineer (PE) license required • 7+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering for oil and gas facilities or similar industrial infrastructure • Proficient in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, RISA, SAP2000, or similar • Working knowledge of CAD software tools including AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Civil 3D • Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, Navisworks, or Tekla Structures is a plus • Strong knowledge of applicable design codes: AISC, ACI, ASCE, API, IBC • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Pay Range - $100,000 - $145,000 base + end of year bonus.
