Job Description
A Project Surveyor at Atwell, LLC is responsible for leading survey projects, collaborating with project teams, utilizing advanced surveying tools and software, and ensuring project accuracy and efficiency across diverse land development and energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers during proposal and project planning to define scope, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Manage projects by ensuring they stay on track, within scope, and within budget while meeting deadlines.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to produce high-quality survey deliverables.
- Review and refine survey field calculations for accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with internal staff, contractors, inspectors, and team leaders.
- Participate in training, industry conferences, and networking to develop skills and stay current with industry trends.
Requirements
- Advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA NSPS Surveys, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collection, Legal Descriptions, and Plan Interpretations, as well as Real Estate Documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
- Experience with Trimble equipment and Trimble Business Center is highly preferred.
- Prior experience working in the field on a survey crew is highly desirable.
- Must reside in Michigan, with preference for candidates near Southfield, Ann Arbor, Shelby Township, and Cadillac.
