• Engage landowners across Southeast Texas to explain project scope, address concerns, and secure land rights including easements, rights-of-entry, and option agreements
• Research property ownership, title information, and parcel boundaries using Texas county courthouse records, tax rolls, and appraisal district databases
• Prepare, review, and execute land use documents in compliance with client and Texas Railroad Commission and other regulatory standards
• Negotiate compensation agreements and settle damage claims in coordination with the Field ROW Supervisor and Project Manager
• Document all landowner communications and maintain detailed parcel files
• Record executed legal documents with county offices across Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, and surrounding counties
• Read and interpret maps, plats, engineering drawings, and legal descriptions
• Coordinate access with surveyors, environmental teams, inspectors, and contractors operating across the Greater Houston region
• Support valuation reviews, appraisals, and damage assessments
• Track acquisition progress and report field updates
• Participate in project meetings and assist with close-out
• 2–5 years of experience in right of way acquisition, real estate, or related field; Texas pipeline or transmission experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Texas property law, land rights, and real estate documentation
• Experience researching title and ownership through Texas county and appraisal district systems
• Familiarity with landowner dynamics in Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, or surrounding counties strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to navigate complex, high-volume project environments
• Comfortable with regular field travel across Southeast Texas
• IRWA coursework or certifications a plus
• Associate degree or equivalent experience
