Job Description
A Project Engineer specializing in site civil engineering and land development projects, primarily residential, responsible for project design, management from entitlements to construction, permitting, client relations, and contributing to company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop site civil engineering and land development projects, including potable water, wastewater, surface water management, site grading, and roadway design.
- Manage projects throughout their lifecycle from entitlements to construction, ensuring successful execution.
- Process permitting and entitlements efficiently across various governmental agencies using local experience and complex strategies.
- Participate in company marketing efforts and build relationships with clients and governmental agencies to support company growth.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC ABET Accredited University
- PE Licensure is required
- Demonstrate technical excellence in engineering principles and practices
- Possess expertise in designing potable water and wastewater distribution systems, surface water management systems, site grading, roadway design, and related land development projects
- Experience in taking projects from entitlements through to construction, ensuring successful project execution
- Ability to manage and coordinate various aspects of project development
- Efficiently process multiple permitting entitlements across various governmental agencies
- Utilize local experience to streamline the permitting process and implement complex permitting strategies to meet project schedules
- Actively participate in company marketing efforts to enhance the company s profile and foster relationships with existing and future clients and governmental agencies
- Contribute to the growth of the company by delivering high-quality projects and ensuring client satisfaction
