• Lead the design and development of low, medium, and high voltage transformers, inductors, power distribution units, and power conversion and control products.
• Collaborate with program management and cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering.
• Generate product specifications for new R&D efforts and customer requirements.
• Apply tools such as Cadence, Creo, and Rale to model and analyze electrical designs.
• Generate complete manufacturing documentation, including schematic diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Perform MTBF and DFMEA analyses to validate reliability and mitigate design risk.
• Develop and execute design verification test (DVT) procedures and support root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Directly interface with customers to ensure product performance aligns with application and compliance requirements.
• Serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers and support best practices for design for manufacturability (DFM) and engineering excellence.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years in medium or high voltage electrical systems design.
• Proven experience in transformer and power system development.
• Deep understanding of electrical components used in power conversion and transformer applications.
• Familiarity with agency compliance (UL, CSA, VDE, CE).
• Proficiency with Cadence, Creo, Rale.
• Familiarity with medium and high voltage design practices and manufacturing techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Salary Range: $125,000-$175,000
