Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required; Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics is a plus.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in switch-mode power supply design, power electronics, and/or digital control.
- Practical experience with Texas Instruments C2000 microcontrollers, including Code Composer Studio and C2000Ware.
- Solid understanding of classical and digital control concepts, including peak current mode, average current mode, and voltage mode control.
- Experience modeling power converters and closed-loop control systems using SIMPLIS, SIMetrix, QSpice, or comparable tools.
- Familiarity with high-frequency magnetic components, including inductors and transformers.
- Understanding of PCB layout considerations for high-frequency power electronics.
- Strong laboratory troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and work collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
- Experience with SiC and/or GaN wide-bandgap semiconductors.
- Experience with high-voltage power conversion topologies.
- Proficiency with Cadence OrCAD Capture / Allegro PCB Editor or comparable schematic and PCB design tools.
- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing or rapid prototyping platforms.
- Experience with EMI/EMC testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing power supplies for regulated, safety-critical, medical, aerospace, or defense applications.

- The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000 – $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and other relevant considerations.
