Job Description
The Customer Service Manager at Astrodyne TDI oversees daily customer service operations, including order processing, return management, quoting, and customer communication, while leading and developing the CSR team to ensure high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily customer service operations, including order processing and real-time order status updates
- Oversee the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process from request to resolution
- Generate and review quotes for customer RFQs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Monitor customer backlog to optimize shipment performance and efficiency
- Represent customers internally to ensure satisfaction and address issues
- Maintain and update customer master data and portal access for invoicing and notifications
- Produce financial reports such as bookings and backlog data
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, marketing, and sales to resolve customer issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within a customer service or inside sales environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising a team.
- Solid knowledge of CRM and ERP systems.
- Strong written, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and assess complex scenarios.
- Ability to handle high-pressure delivery schedules with a professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with a 'measure twice, cut once' approach to order entry and quoting.
- Ability to hold internal departments accountable for deadlines to meet customer commitments.
