Job Description
The Senior Accounting Associate at Aprio will be responsible for providing accounting and advisory services within a dynamic, growth-oriented firm, supporting clients across various industries while working in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients.
- Perform accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Possess a CPA Certification or be willing to obtain CPA Certification with assistance and bonus program provided.
- Have experience working as a Senior Accounting Associate or in a similar accounting role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in accounting principles and practices relevant to retail, franchise, and hospitality industries.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, with flexibility to work onsite or remotely depending on role, location, and terms and conditions.
- Possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a high-energy, passionate, and ambitious team.
- Be able to participate in on-demand learning classes and grow professionally within a continuous learning environment.
- Meet physical or logistical requirements for onsite work, including utilizing provided shuttle services and meal provisions if applicable.
- Be eligible to work full-time as a permanent employee, with the ability to handle discretionary time off, holidays, and performance-based salary increases.
- Have the ability to perform job duties that may include handling sensitive financial information and adhering to confidentiality standards.
