Job Description
A Data Engineer in IT Data Services responsible for developing and maintaining data infrastructure to support client needs and business growth within a dynamic, fast-growing advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for IT data services.
- Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across data systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data services role with a focus on IT Data Services.
- Ability to work with large-scale data systems and manage data pipelines effectively.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data transformation techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering such as Python, SQL, or similar.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is required.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing data storage and retrieval systems.
- Knowledge of data security, privacy standards, and compliance requirements relevant to data handling.
- Physical ability to perform job duties as required, including working at a computer for extended periods.
