Job Description

ANYbotics is a fast-growing tech company dedicated to shaping the future of mobile robotics across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

As our Solutions Architect, you will act as the senior industry expert bridging the gap between our autonomous robotic technology and the Power & Utilities sector, and more broadly the maintenance, reliability and asset performance communities of asset-intensive industries. This is a highly visible, strategic role designed for a visionary who thrives on customer engagement, executive networking, and shaping product roadmaps – offering the thrill of a sales-focused environment without the pressure of a quota. You are the counterpart, in the Product Management organization, to our Key Account Managers. While the Account Manager develops and maintains a high-touch relationship with the customer, identifies key decision-makers and devises the account penetration strategy, you deliver the solution required to fulfil the customer engagement: you aggregate and synthesize the current and future ANYbotics product stack (robot platform, operational design domain, inspection payloads, data insights, data lake integration, APM/CMMS systems integration) into cohesive technical solutions, complete with the business models and contractual frameworks tailored to our top-priority accounts. This role is central to our Go-To-Market strategy, centered on project sales and deeper, more focused engagements with key accounts. You will define high-impact use cases, orchestrate business value engineering, and mentor our internal teams. If you are passionate about driving product vision and enjoy travelling to connect directly with industry leaders, this role offers unparalleled impact.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 15 years of hands-on industry experience in Maintenance or Reliability Engineering, with a strong Asset Performance Management (APM) background, gained within Power & Utilities and/or other asset-heavy industries (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Metals, high-volume Manufacturing). You have lived the reality of maintenance strategies, integrity programmes and reliability improvement inside operating plants.
  • Interdisciplinary Background: A well-balanced background bridging software, APM and maintenance; this is not a pure hardware or automation engineering role. A strong understanding of how automated inspection, control and maintenance systems (mobile robotics, IoT, DCS/SCADA, CMMS, APM) fit into complex industrial workflows.
  • Customer and deal leadership: Proven ability to lead complex customer discovery, navigate executive-level conversations and contribute heavily to major deals; a sharp observer of customer personas and pain points.
  • Financial and contractual fluency: Comfortable building business cases, navigating pricing models and handling the business and contractual nuances of technical partnerships and strategic agreements.
  • Executive communication and influence: Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts into high-value narratives for audiences ranging from R&D engineers to C-suite executives, and to motivate internal stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Strong collaboration skills, particularly in partnering with product managers, product marketing and the Commercial organization.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related).
  • Grit and mobility: A self-starter who thrives in the fast-paced environment of a scaling deep-tech company, with high enthusiasm for significant travel (30–40%+) to engage directly with customers, prospects and industry networks.
