Key Responsibilities
Prepare feasibility analysis documents for landowners' carbon projects
Perform statistical analyses of forest inventories and data sets
Analyze remote sensing data to estimate carbon sequestration and emissions reductions
Conduct silvicultural research across project regions
Manage geospatial data and create maps using GIS software
Analyze financial costs and benefits of carbon project development
Review easements and harvest prohibitions for project eligibility
Articulate carbon analysis processes to landowners
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in forestry or another applicable discipline
1 or more years of professional experience in forestry or forest carbon-related field
