Job Description
Amperity is seeking engineers passionate about solving complex data challenges and building impactful products using AI and data technologies. The role involves working with a variety of open source tools and a microservice architecture to help leading brands create personalized customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data processing and analytics products using open source tools like Spark, Presto, Kafka, and Mesos.
- Build and support microservices architecture, primarily using Clojure.
- Implement cloud-first automation with tools such as Apache Aurora and SaltStack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex data challenges and deliver impactful solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with complex data challenges and building products that drive real-world impact with customers.
- Proficiency in open source tools such as Spark, Presto, Mesos, and Kafka.
- Experience working with a microservice architecture, with most services written in Clojure.
- Knowledge of a web stack based on ClojureScript and the React family of tools.
- Experience with cloud-first automation including Apache Aurora and SaltStack.
