Key Responsibilities
- AlertMedia is seeking a Financial Systems Manager to join the Finance and Accounting team. This role sits within the Finance Operations (FinOps) function as the strategic owner of the financial systems ecosystem. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, you will focus on finance data operations, automation, and systems integrations.
- This is more than a traditional ERP administrator role. You will administer and enhance NetSuite, support Zone Billing, manage middleware integrations (Workato), and ensure data flows seamlessly across systems that impact FinOps. You will lead full lifecycle implementations for FinOps-owned back-office initiatives, partnering closely with Accounting, FP&A, RevOps, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and Engineering. You will also own hands-on data movement, reconciliation, cross-system workflows, reporting, and process support.
- Beyond system administration, you will act as a strategic operator—analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and proactively designing scalable, system-driven solutions that improve reliability, insight, and operational maturity.
- Success in this role will be measured by your ability to improve cross-system connectivity, elevate process automation, strengthen governance, and enable Finance Operations to scale with the business.
- Who You Are: You thrive at the intersection of finance, systems, and operations. You enjoy solving complex workflow challenges and turning manual processes into scalable, automated solutions. You combine strong analytical thinking with systems fluency and can quickly identify where data breaks down, where processes stall, and where technology can create leverage. You are comfortable getting into configuration details while also thinking strategically about long-term architecture and scalability.
- You communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and translate operational needs into practical system solutions. You take ownership, operate with urgency, and bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to every initiative.
Requirements
- Experience with Salesforce, Zone Billing, Dealhub, or similar business systems are preferred.
- Experience working in a SaaS or subscription-based business is helpful.
- Location: Strong preference for candidates located in Austin, Texas to work a hybrid (2 days a week) in our downtown headquarters.
- Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have existing authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
