Job Description
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Alarm.com is responsible for onboarding and supporting international partners by providing training, managing relationships, and ensuring the effective utilization of Alarm.com's products and services, primarily through technical support, product demonstrations, and feedback collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the technical onboarding process for new partners, providing training and tools.
- Manage key international partners to ensure effective utilization of Alarm.com services and tools.
- Provide ongoing product support and training to partners through webinars and on-site sessions.
- Gather and advocate for partner requirements by collecting feedback to improve products and processes.
- Represent Alarm.com at trade shows and events.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Alarm.com products to respond to partner inquiries.
- Create training materials such as presentations, technical guides, and videos for partner education.
- Conduct tests for new features in collaboration with Product Managers and Quality Engineers.
- Drive adoption of key tools impacting partner business operations.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Engineering, Math, or sciences is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English with vendors and internal teams, both in writing and verbally, in a clear, professional manner.
- Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology.
- A self-starter who can operate independently.
- Strong people skills with a natural customer service orientation and disposition.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- The ability and commitment to meet deadlines, even during high-volume periods.
- Availability to travel up to 65% within the LATAM region.
- Must work from the Bogota office Parque de la 93 at least 3 days per week when not traveling.
