Job Description

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist at OpenEye is responsible for testing software and hardware products, verifying customer use scenarios, and conducting Agile QA processes. This role involves creating and executing test plans, performing regression tests, and participating in Agile sprint planning.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts Agile QA for bugs and stories completed by the development team.
  • Conducts regression tests against software applications.
  • Participates in Agile sprint planning and execution.
  • Creates and executes test plans based on software acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluates software and firmware applications for feature deviations from existing test plans.
  • Recommends updates, fixes and improvements to existing test plans as needed.
  • Configures and monitors long term and integration tests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree.
  • 2 years SQA Experience.
  • Familiarity with web applications and web terminology.
  • Ability to work full time, in our Liberty Lake, WA headquarters.
  • Familiarity of Jira, SQL Workbench, and Postman.
