Job Description

A Software Engineer in Test responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks across multiple platforms, utilizing modern testing methodologies and AI-assisted tools to ensure high-quality software delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools across multiple application platforms (Mobile, Desktop, Web).
  • Create and execute test cases based on project documents, customer demands, and product objectives.
  • Generate detailed bug reports and handle technical communications with customers.
  • Analyze software systems and collaborate with other teams to improve overall design.
  • Evaluate and evolve testing methodologies, including AI-assisted techniques, to improve test coverage and quality.
  • Manage the final quality assurance process for production releases.
  • Review code written by others to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate testing and defect identification.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI-driven automation capabilities to enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience with one of the following programming languages - Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Go, C.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude Code.
  • Ability to set up, maintain, and perform test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, including Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and build test scenarios and acceptance tests.
  • Experience with build and deployment tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and practices.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong quality ethic and test-first attitude.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
  • Ability to understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
  • Experience generating detailed bug reports.
  • Experience reviewing code written by others to determine if it meets company, departmental, and team standards.
  • Experience evaluating and integrating emerging AI-driven automation capabilities to enhance test efficiency and product quality.
  • Ability to analyze software systems and coordinate with other teams to enhance overall design.
  • Experience managing final quality on production releases.
