Job Description

The role involves managing cross-functional engineering projects related to hardware and firmware development in an Agile environment, coordinating deliverables across teams, and supporting the integration of new IoT technologies for a rapidly growing smart security platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support engineering and product teams in scoping, integrating, and delivering software changes in an Agile environment
  • Lead or support cross-functional technical initiatives to ensure requirements are accurately captured and implemented
  • Manage the project development lifecycle, including task tracking and milestone measurement using hybrid Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve dependencies, risks, and prioritization conflicts proactively
  • Coordinate development processes and requirements within the Device Engineering organization for successful product delivery
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership regularly
  • Maintain and improve engineering processes and documentation, including formal delivery to third parties
  • Assist in scaling engineering teams internationally and onboarding new devices and features
  • Own and execute specific project tasks as needed

Requirements

  • A B.S. in Engineering discipline or higher-level degree, or relevant job experience.
  • 6-8 years of hands-on project management and cross-functional engineering team experience.
  • Experience managing technical software development projects in a team environment.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding and coordination of development needs across multiple teams.
  • Ability to context switch, desire to learn, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to connect with people and build working relationships.
  • Customer service mentality and willingness to resolve issues completely.
  • Minimal travel possible, ranging from 0 to 5 days.
