Job Description
The Product Operations Manager II International at Alarm.com is responsible for coordinating the deployment and launch of video security products in global markets, working across multiple teams to manage certifications, regional customization, feature requests, and issue resolution to ensure successful international product rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international market feedback on video hardware with technical account managers, sales, and product teams
- Monitor and collaborate on regulatory certification progress for hardware products by region
- Identify and plan product launches in new countries, coordinating cross-functional activities
- Support international-specific SKU, labeling, packaging, and firmware configurations
- Gather, organize, and assess international-specific feature requests for software and firmware
- Debug and triage international-specific hardware and installation issues
- Align product and international go-to-market teams to ensure clarity and operational efficiency
Requirements
- B.S. or B.A. in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field; business degrees accepted only if paired with strong technical experience or a technical focus
- 2 to 5 years of experience in product operations, technical program management, or product coordination roles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging across functions and regions
- Comfortable working across time zones and with globally distributed teams
- Self-starter who enjoys building repeatable systems and solving unstructured problems
- Experience with hardware product lifecycles, SKUs, or certifications
- Familiarity with international product deployment or market adaptation (helpful but not required)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence (a plus)
