The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of corporate events and trade shows to enhance brand awareness, generate leads, and ensure successful execution and evaluation of each event.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of event management for trade and sponsored events, including logistics coordination
Communicate responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines to internal and external stakeholders
Handle event registration, ordering, and invoicing of show services
Manage vendors related to exhibiting, meetings, and shipping
Oversee giveaway and display inventory management
Conduct post-event evaluations and report on event success and areas for improvement
Coordinate with Venture Business Units on joint events to ensure consistent co-branding
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in coordinating events in a corporate environment
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet constant deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding attention to detail and highly organized
Very comfortable with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Willingness to learn something new and be coached
BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Willingness to travel as needed, up to 10%
Must be able to lift or move at least 20 lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time during events
