Job Description

A Technical Recruiter at AIRCO is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of technical, scientific, and engineering roles, supporting the company's growth in innovative carbon conversion technology. The role involves sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding high-caliber talent while collaborating with hiring managers and contributing to broader talent strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full cycle recruiting for technical, operational, and corporate roles, focusing on chemical engineering, science, and advanced manufacturing profiles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, success criteria, and hiring priorities.
  • Design and execute targeted sourcing strategies using various recruiting tools and outreach methods.
  • Manage interview coordination, candidate communication, feedback collection, and offer processes.
  • Deliver a consistent, transparent, and respectful candidate experience.
  • Support hiring managers in improving interview readiness, feedback quality, and decision timelines.
  • Contribute to role calibration and intake quality by asking critical questions and surfacing tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate with People Operations and leadership to improve onboarding and early ramp experiences.
  • Identify gaps in hiring processes, manager capability, or role clarity and propose improvements.
  • Manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally within scientific, industrial, or engineering driven environments
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated ability to source and close high caliber technical talent in competitive markets
  • Hands on experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern recruiting tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast paced, ambiguous environment
  • High attention to detail and strong follow through
  • Access to technology, software, and other information that is subject to governmental access control restrictions, with the ability to obtain and maintain appropriate government authorization to access such technology or information
