Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer in the Identity Access Management Integrations Team responsible for developing and maintaining APIs, integration platforms, and access management systems to enhance the company's relationship intelligence platform, with a focus on backend development and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop core product areas related to APIs, integrations, and access management systems.
- Drive the technical roadmap and implementation of internal and external API layers and third-party integration platforms.
- Implement and optimize backend systems, including APIs, algorithms, and integration frameworks.
- Ensure data privacy and security through access management rules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and design.
- Establish and promote best practices for API, integration, and IAM system development.
- Mentor and guide other engineers to improve team technical skills and practices.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience as a senior member of a team delivering end-to-end systems
- Experience working with a variety of web APIs and developing backend services using modern Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) practices
- Strong understanding of relational databases and the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks at the database layer
- Experience troubleshooting across network, application, caching, queuing, and storage layers
- Experience helping teams solve high-scale challenges, integrate systems, or develop business intelligence platforms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly, whether in writing or in real-time discussions
- Strong ownership instincts and attention to detail
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with backend development using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- Experience with frontend development initiatives using Typescript and React (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working with infrastructure hosted on AWS and running on Kubernetes
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product stakeholders, engineering, and design teams
