Job Description
A Senior Product Quality Engineer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of Aeva's advanced 4D LiDAR sensors during manufacturing, acting as the main quality liaison between the company and its contract manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the production quality of 4D LiDAR products
- Act as the primary quality liaison between Aeva and contract manufacturers
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Quality Engineer overseeing production quality of advanced sensing or optical hardware, preferably in LiDAR or similar high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Ability to act as the primary quality liaison between the company and contract manufacturers to ensure manufacturing excellence.
- Proven experience in managing quality assurance processes throughout the manufacturing process of complex electronic or photonic products.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and methodologies relevant to high-resolution sensing devices, such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and improve manufacturing quality control procedures for silicon photonics-based products.
- Experience working with contract manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between internal teams and external manufacturing partners to maintain quality standards.
