Job Description
Aeva is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop and implement embedded systems for advanced LiDAR sensors used in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and other applications, from initial design to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for LiDAR sensors and perception systems
- Translate system requirements into software architecture and implementation
- Implement, test, and optimize embedded software for performance and reliability
Requirements
- Experience in embedded systems software development with the ability to work on designs from initial architecture through production
- Self-starter with the ability to independently develop and implement embedded software solutions
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging embedded software for hardware systems
- Experience working with embedded hardware components and integrating software with hardware
- Ability to understand and work with complex sensing and perception technology, specifically LiDAR systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple stages of software development lifecycle
