Bring up Lidar assembly line from RFQ phase to mass production.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring up Lidar assembly line from RFQ phase to mass production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain to define project scopes and objectives.
- Define and manage manufacturing project schedule from NPI through mass production ramp.
- Ensure resources requirements are defined and resources assigned to ensure project success.
- Analyze CM bring up schedules to identify critical path, identify disconnects or gaps in execution, and drive closure plans to ensure execution to milestones.
- Collaborate with product engineering, test engineering and technology partners in achieving deliverables required by operations.
- Manage operations functional teams closure on Product Lifecycle (PLC) deliverables.
- Function as key liaison to contract manufacturer.
- Communicate program changes to contract manufacturers.
- Prepare roadmap and capacity plans for product ramp and next-gen NPI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Optical engineering, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or equivalent.
- 5 years Automotive project management experience.
- Experience with Engineering Change Orders and Product LifeCycle management.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing / technical operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience with LiDAR systems
- TeamCenter experience
