Job Description
An Automotive Software Engineering Manager responsible for leading the embedded software team in Bangalore, overseeing the development and integration of safety and security-compliant firmware for automotive OEM programs, and collaborating with international teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Bengaluru automotive embedded software team
- Provide technical leadership for safety and security compliant firmware development
- Oversee execution of software projects to meet global program milestones
- Support integration of firmware with OEM middleware
- Collaborate with international engineering teams in the US and Germany
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading automotive embedded software engineering teams, with a focus on delivering safety and security compliant firmware for OEM automotive programs.
- Strong technical leadership skills in automotive embedded software development, including overseeing execution and supporting integration with OEM middleware.
- Experience in managing and coordinating with international engineering teams, specifically partnering closely with counterparts in the US and Germany.
- Ability to ensure delivery quality aligns with global program milestones in automotive software projects.
- Demonstrated people leadership skills, including overseeing team performance and supporting team members in a technical environment.
