Key Responsibilities
Interface with the Commercial and IT teams on items related to the ETRM.
Work with the Commercial Teams to develop and maintain internal and external tools for position / market monitoring.
Work with the Product Control team in building and supporting the commercial business.
Work with the trading teams to capture and validate trade entry.
Provide live support / troubleshooting for the commercial, risk and financial teams for information systems.
Develop, maintain, and enhance customer applications based on contractual needs of external and internal customers.
Assist with data management solutions.
Learn the commercial business with the team, to grow skills and progress career path.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Sciences, or a related field.
1-2 years of relevant work experience in the energy industry.
Experience supporting Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, preferably Allegro (desirable).
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Power BI and reporting tools.
Working knowledge of SQL and database querying.
Experience with HTML, Python, Perl, R, XML, and related technologies is a plus.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
Strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $94,000 and $112,625/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave time, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
