Support executive protection as needed
Working knowledge of investigative techniques and criminal procedure.
Working knowledge of risk assessments.
Guard force management experience.
Responsible for Physical Security of a large geographic area including urban and rural facilities.
Overnight travel up to 40% of the time may be required.
Experience in training delivery is preferred. The successful candidate will be required to deliver the training through a learning management system or through face to face instruction.
Former or Active Full time paid Sworn Law Enforcement employee at the local, state or federal level highly preferred.
Person must live in AEP’s service territory.

Bachelor's degree or associate degree and three years' experience OR High School and 10 years' experience.
Minimum of three years' experience in one of the following: Sworn Paid Law enforcement employee at the local, state or federal level; active-duty military; corporate security or related field. (in addition to experience listed above).
