Job Description

The role involves building and leading the Acumen Academy in Pakistan, managing fellowship programs, developing partnerships, overseeing operations, and supporting social entrepreneurs to create transformational change and address poverty through leadership development and innovative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the launch, delivery, and growth of the Acumen Academy Program in Pakistan
  • Lead the design and execution of Fellows outreach, recruitment, and selection strategies
  • Oversee program operations including budgeting, logistics, and facilitator coordination
  • Support Fellows through coaching, providing feedback, and conducting one-on-one meetings
  • Build and maintain partnerships, funding support, and relationships with program stakeholders
  • Establish and promote the Acumen Academy brand in Pakistan
  • Develop and oversee the Pakistan Foundry strategy and initiatives
  • Build the Pakistan Acumen Academy by establishing partnerships, securing funding, and engaging local partners
  • Lead and manage a team of 2-4 members to achieve program goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in a related field, preferably in education, training, fellowships and or leadership development, entrepreneurship.
  • Experience in group facilitation and adult learning.
  • Coaching skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback effectively, and willingness to have difficult, courageous conversations in service of helping others grow.
  • Experience in fundraising for new ventures.
  • Experience managing a team, structuring the work, prioritizing, assigning, delegating, tracking results and team morale, and executing when required, as well as managing stakeholders in a collaborative fashion.
  • Strong operations track record and ability to achieve targets independently.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and is detail-oriented.
  • Prior work experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work efficiently against tight deadlines.
  • A graduate master’s degree in a related field, for example education, psychology, leadership, etc.
