Job Description
The role involves leading the development and management of Acumen Academy in Pakistan, including fellowship program delivery, stakeholder engagement, partnership building, fundraising, and team leadership to support social entrepreneurs and drive transformational change.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the launch, delivery, and growth of the Acumen Academy Program in Pakistan
- Oversee fellowship outreach, selection, and recruitment strategies
- Facilitate seminars and support Fellows through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one engagement
- Lead program operations including budgeting, logistics, and facilitator coordination
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, partners, and supporters to ensure program sustainability
- Develop and execute strategies for the Pakistan Foundry, including supporting its members and measuring impact
- Build partnerships and secure funding for the Pakistan Acumen Academy
- Champion the Acumen Academy brand and establish a community of supporters and advisors
- Lead and manage a team of 2-4 members to achieve program goals
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in a related field, preferably in education, training, fellowships and or leadership development, entrepreneurship.
- Experience in group facilitation and adult learning.
- Coaching skills, including the ability to give constructive feedback effectively, and willingness to have difficult, courageous conversations in service of helping others grow.
- Experience in fundraising for new ventures.
- Experience managing stakeholders, and building relationships with teams and partners.
- Experience managing a team, structuring the work, prioritizing, assigning, delegating, tracking results and team morale, and executing when required.
- Strong operations track record and ability to achieve targets independently.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and is detail-oriented.
- Prior work experience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work efficiently against tight deadlines.
- A graduate master’s degree in a related field, for example education, psychology, leadership, etc.
