Job Description
The Program Director will lead and develop high-impact entrepreneurial programs at 500 Global's Nairobi hub, overseeing strategic direction, stakeholder relationships, and team building to support innovation and economic growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, execution, and expansion of high-impact programs in the Nairobi hub
- Shape the strategic direction of the Nairobi hub
- Manage key stakeholder relationships
- Build and lead a strong local team
- Support entrepreneurship and foster innovation to drive economic growth
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the founder’s journey and experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
- Experience in leading, developing, executing, and expanding high-impact programs
- Ability to shape the strategic direction of the Nairobi hub
- Proven experience in managing key stakeholder relationships
- Experience in building and leading a strong local team
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supporting entrepreneurship, fostering innovation, and driving economic growth
- Experience working in entrepreneurial environments with a focus on technology and innovation
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Availability to commit to a 1-year contract with the potential for extension
