Job Description
Location: Remote Team: Software
Key Responsibilities
- Build products end to end: interactive interfaces, APIs and the services behind them.
- Build tools across the plant lifecycle: design, commissioning and operations.
- Bring automation and AI into how plants are designed and run.
- Turn plant data into dashboards and insights people act on.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering, building full-stack production applications.
- Strong TypeScript and React, and Python.
- APIs, data modeling and SQL databases.
- Complex, data-heavy interfaces such as maps and visualizations.
- Algorithmic problem solving with real-world constraints.
- Bias for action and end-to-end ownership.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineers and commercial teams.
- Power or renewable energy industry experience.
- Solar performance modeling tools: PVsyst, SAM or similar.
- Machine learning for optimization: surrogate models, Bayesian optimization or similar.
- Optimization: linear or mixed-integer programming, or heuristic search.
- Data engineering: data lakes, pipelines and streaming.
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform or similar.
- Geospatial data and GIS.
