Job Description
The Lift Station Technician Trainee will learn to operate, maintain, and ensure compliance of wastewater collection systems and FOG (Fats, Oils, and Grease) programs, while completing required training and certifications to manage the City's FOG program within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- •Complete all required training for wastewater collection systems and FOG programs
- •Obtain all pertinent certifications within the specified timeframe
- •Complete the USFOGA Certified Municipal FOG Coordinator training within 12 months of hire
- •Assist in the operation and maintenance of wastewater collection systems
- •Support compliance with FOG management regulations
Requirements
- •The trainee will be required to complete all required training, obtain all pertinent certifications, and complete the USFOGA Certified Municipal FOG Coordinator training within 12 months of hire to take over the management of the City s FOG program.
- •This is a trainee role designed for individuals who are motivated to learn and develop technical skills in the operation, maintenance, and compliance of wastewater collection systems and FOG programs.
