Job Description
The Manager, Load Tariff Origination will oversee energy management strategies and negotiate contracts for large energy consumers in the ERCOT and Southwest Power Pool regions, focusing on regulatory compliance and load management. This role requires expertise in data center energy management and collaboration with various teams to support renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and contract energy management strategies for large loads in ERCOT and SPP regions.
- Coordinate with Development team to execute commercial agreements with REPs, IOUs, and LSEs.
- Serve as subject matter expert for load management and settlements.
- Guide complex energy projects in Texas and Southwest Power Pool regions.
- Collaborate with Project Development, Project Finance, Origination and Trading, and Business Development teams.
Requirements
- A deep understanding of data center energy management, load registration and management in RTOs and ISOs.
- Extensive regulatory experience at the state level.
- Technical expertise in energy management.
- Hands-on experience in energy management.
- Ability to negotiate, contract, and oversee energy management strategies for large loads in the ERCOT and Southwest Power Pool regions.
- Coordination with Intersect Power's Development team to execute commercial agreements with REPs, IOUs, and LSEs.
