Job Description
The position involves being a key member of a sustainability team, performing building performance analysis, developing graphical representations of energy and environmental metrics, and managing documentation for LEED and energy compliance. Candidates should have a strong background in energy modeling, data analysis, and familiarity with high-performance building standards.
Responsibilities
- •Perform building performance analysis and produce graphical representations of results.
- •Develop visually appealing graphical representations of building energy consumption and performance metrics.
- •Manage documentation for LEED energy credits and energy code compliance reports.
- •Research performance modeling methodologies and workflows to improve design solutions.
- •Provide client and project team leadership for multiple projects.
- •Develop research, case studies, and white papers to present findings and recommendations.
- •Assist in the production of narratives, approaches, and fees for project proposals.
Requirements
- •Bachelor degree in related field required.
- •A minimum of 6 years of related experience required.
- •Experience with EnergyPlus Openstudio required.
- •Must be able to assist with data analysis, energy modeling, and visualization tools, and be familiar with A E C industry trends related to high performance buildings.
- •Must have familiarity with ASHRAE Standard 90.1, ASHRAE Standard 62.1, LEED Reference Guides, California Title 24, IECC, and other energy related codes.
- •Must complete mandatory training, including compliance training, within required timeframes and adhere to internal policies and the Code of Conduct.
