Job Description
The Customer Retention Representative at Nexamp is responsible for delivering exceptional customer support, engaging with customers to enhance their understanding of community solar products, and proactively addressing concerns to foster loyalty and retention. This full-time, hybrid role requires strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- •Deliver empathetic support to enhance customer experience.
- •Communicate directly with customers about community solar products.
- •Listen actively to resolve customer concerns and offer solutions.
- •Proactively remind customers about open balances and payment solutions.
- •Document all customer interactions in CRM systems accurately.
- •Share ideas and feedback to improve retention strategies.
- •Embrace a changing environment and pursue learning opportunities.
Requirements
- •1-3 years of experience in customer service, sales, retention, or similar customer-facing roles.
- •Ability to communicate directly with customers to ensure they understand our community solar product and feel confident in their relationship with Nexamp.
- •Skilled in overcoming objections with empathy and professionalism to find win-win outcomes and to handle challenging conversations.
- •Comfortable navigating CRM tools, ticketing systems, and internal processes to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to workflows.
- •Accurate and timely in using CRM systems to track every step of the customer journey.
- •Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- •Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- •Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
