Job Description
The Procurement Associate Sr. Associate at Avantus will support the implementation of procurement strategies for solar PV storage systems and components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage contracts, supplier relationships, and compliance while driving down costs in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.
Responsibilities
- •Support the implementation of procurement strategy and standards across solar PV storage systems and components.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, project finance, and procurement.
- •Create and follow best practices in large scale procurement processes.
- •Support complex transactions involving multiple contracts.
- •Manage supplier relationships and track financials, compliance, and insurance.
- •Review and assist with preparation of standard contract documents.
- •Lead document execution process and internal reporting approvals.
- •Track and process payments for large value deposits and invoices.
- •Ensure compliance with corporate policies and initiatives.
Requirements
- •Three years of contract administration or equivalent experience.
- •Solar industry experience is preferred.
- •Ability to make administrative procedural decisions and judgments.
- •Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
- •Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- •Ability to multi-task and manage tight timelines and prioritize deadlines.
- •Effective in working with multiple stakeholders and within cross-functional teams.
- •Proactive approach to problem solving.
- •Reliability, dependability, and flexibility.
