Job Description

The Finance Manager at Nexamp will oversee the financial operations of the Clean Energy Deployment business unit, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive profitability. This role involves collaboration with various teams and mentoring finance analysts, all while contributing to the company's mission in the clean energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial operations for the Clean Energy Deployment business unit, including reforecasting solar project margins and budgeting.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses related to solar project construction timelines and inventory management.
  • Assist in corporate budgeting and reforecasting processes, preparing investor reporting dashboards.
  • Lead internal strategy and reporting for Inflation Reduction Act ITC adders and oversee financing efforts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including developing reports and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning.
  • Mentor and manage a team of Finance Analysts to achieve department goals.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to support the executive team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in FP A, solar project finance, or capital markets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong modeling background required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to ask the right questions, interpret data, identify root causes of issues, and propose creative solutions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
