Job Description

The Business Development Representative at FOS of CannonDesign is responsible for identifying new client opportunities and building relationships in the West region of the United States, primarily focusing on the Simplebid JOC software platform. The role involves collaborating with sales teams to enhance the opportunity pipeline and support sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Regional Account Executives and Director of Sales in identifying new client opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Capitalize on existing network and lead development strategies
  • Identify target clients through research and lead generation
  • Partner and collaborate with other leaders to advance new client relationships
  • Identify unique new sales opportunities
  • Enhance opportunity pipeline to support sales targets
  • Assist in research and intelligence gathering for potential opportunities
  • Participate in development and coaching of client-facing presentations
  • Work collaboratively on marketing and business development activities
  • Generate qualified client leads and strategize next steps
  • Participate in client engagement planning meetings and assist with proposal content development

Requirements

  • 5 years of work experience in a related position.
  • Experience with customer relationship management software platforms.
  • Experience in relationship development and lead generation.
  • Experience in sales, sales management, business development, and relationship building.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
  • Some travel will be required.
