Job Description
The EHS Specialist at Gotion Inc. is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Environment, Health, and Safety programs to ensure a safe workplace and regulatory compliance, while promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs.
- Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses.
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Support environmental permitting and compliance activities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Collect, analyze, and report EHS data and track KPIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Experience in conducting hazard assessments, risk analyses, and incident investigations.
- Strong understanding of EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation/salary range: 85k - 100k plus 15% bonus
