Job Description
The Simulation Engineer Intern will benchmark performance and accuracy of various FEA solvers, gaining hands-on experience with engineering software and contributing to comparative analyses that influence software selection processes. This paid internship, based in NYC, runs from June to August 2025.
Responsibilities
- •Benchmark performance and accuracy for a suite of FEA solvers
- •Compare open source FEA solver Calculix to NX NASTRAN and ABAQUS
- •Contribute to comparative analyses influencing software selection processes
- •Incorporate open-source FEA packages into workflows
Requirements
- •Internship duration from June 2025 to August 2025.
- •Location based in NYC office.
- •Hands-on experience with industry-leading engineering software.
- •Ability to benchmark performance and accuracy for a suite of FEA solvers.
- •Responsible for comparing open source FEA solver, Calculix to NX NASTRAN and ABAQUS.
