Job Description
The Partner Technical Manager (PTM) is a senior role responsible for empowering and enabling channel partners by providing technical guidance, driving sales enablement programs, and collaborating strategically with various teams to enhance partner capabilities and success in the data storage industry.
Responsibilities
- •Drive technical and sales enablement programs for partners.
- •Align with sales and engineering teams to develop regional partner strategies.
- •Deliver presentations and training to partner engineers and sales teams.
- •Assist in driving partner-led opportunities through the sales cycle.
- •Gather partner feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- •Manage partner technical enablement plans and report on success.
- •Represent Pure Storage at partner events and webinars as a subject matter expert.
- •Provide coaching and mentorship to partners on sales and competition.
Requirements
- •5-10 years experience in enterprise storage, systems, or networking with a strong background in supporting sales and/or channels in Southeast Asia.
- •Strong technical knowledge across storage architectures including DAS, NAS, SAN, iSCSI, FC, cloud, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix), networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet), and operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows).
- •Proficiency in English written and spoken is required.
- •BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
